Description

This practical raised bed comes in a choice of sizes and is a perfect alternative for making your outdoor space into an allotment, perfect for the gardener who wants to have traditional style with modern features. Extremely durable, strong but lightweight , they are made to last, produced in weatherproof hot dipped galvanised zinc steel and finished in a lovely shade of sage green, an additional feature is a rubber edging safety band, this will prevent sharp edges and finishes it off nicely. This metal raised bed will provide the perfect base at 30cms high, suitable for any home growing, whether for your garden vegetables, herbs or flowers. Ideal so there is little bending and makes weeding easy! Growing in raised beds will help protect from pests and reduce competition for water and light from other plants. PLEASE NOTE: There is no base to the planters, we recommend using a suitable liner if using on a patio or decking. Easy to assemble in less than 30 minutes with just nuts and bolts (you will need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers), then simply fill the bed using a soil of your choice, this has its benefits allowing you to tailor the soil to suit your crop, then warming up faster than the soil in the ground, to aid germination. Please note: Rubber Safety band goes along the top of the planter to prevent sharp edges (see image above)
